PARAGRAPH 1: The good about South Central is the Animo Lockes school. Can improve about south central is the crime and violence over the police and people in the community. Well overall I kind of like living on south central because I have better education.I like going to school in south central but one thing I don’t like is bullying and fights. Also in Animo Locke2 I have the best friends and teachers.
THESIS: The three most important events that have had the greatest impact on making south central, LA what it is today are Early History of Los Angeles, Crack Epidemic, and Gang History.
PARAGRAPH 2: In 1913, William Mulholland completed the canals that assured that the city’s growth, but left dozens of neighboring communities without water supplies of their own. I think it important because Williams want to build new thing that never has build before. I choose this because it interesting know that William want the city’s to growth. But also left the communities without water.
PARAGRAPH 3: The second event was the Crack Epidemic. I think it is important because is one of the most highly additive and destructive drugs in the world. I choose it because it effect the families being broken up into pieces because of the drug dealers. Also the CIA set up connections between major drugs to the drug dealers sent money to buy weapons for Nicaragua. This increase in crime is what led tp many bars being put upon windows and mental fences being built around apartments and houses.
PARAGRAPH 4: The third event is the Gang History that Black and Latinos were response to white gangs. It important because most of the gang s became involved in the civil right. I choose it because I think is interesting. Also the largest white gang was the Spooky Hunters. The Black panther party and the Brown Berets wanted to act as a community army and organized people against police brutality and racism.
PARAGRAPH 5: The early history of Los Angeles was name El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora La Reina de Los Angeles sobre El rio Porciuncula. Crack epidemic was effecting a lot on families and children’s because parents give their own children to buy drugs and of the CIA to give money to buy weapons. The Gang History did a COINTELPRO-a group of blacks and Latinos fight for rights. I think south Ceb=tral can change in the future if people do there best to fix more better the community without fights, crimes. and violence. At last the police can also help too because they can stop gangs, CIA, and police to sell drugs to everybody.
1. What were the Black Panthers and the Brown Berets? What were their goals?
The black panthers were a group of people name US Organization. The Brown Berets were a group of student high school. Their goals were people have a bettter education and stop police brutality. They also have free clinic for health care and a breakfast program.
2.What is COINTELPRO? Why do you think the government did not the Black Panthers and the Brown Berets to be successful?
COINTELPRO is counter intelligence program. I think the government did not want the black panthers to be successful because they were scared. My opinion is that they wanted to have the power. Also because the black panthers and brown berets were powerful and the government thing that the group would kill them.
3.What made Bunchy Carter a great leader?
Bunchy Carter was a great leader because he care about his community. Also because him was sent to prison and when him gets out he change to a positive way. Third he was a great leader because he influenced by teach about Malcolm X and become Muslim. Finally he was a great leader because he created a group name US Organization.
Tookie Williams was born in December 29,1953 and was killed in December 13,2005 at New Orleans, LA. Williams refused to help police investigate his gang, and was implicated in attacks on guards and women, as well as multiple escape plots. In 1993, Williams began making changes in his behavior, and became an anti-gang activist while on Death Row in California was the co-founder of the Crips, a notorious American street gang which had its roots in South Central Los Angeles in 1969. Throughout the years he has published several children’s books and autobiographies. He has been nominated for Nobel prizes but never won, and although he has been convicted for serious crimes, his accomplishments as a death row inmate are impressive. He was a great leader because he did not trade his gang member.
BUNCHY CARTER
Bunchy Carter was born October 12, 1942 in Los Angeles. Former gang member who was killed on January 17, 1969. In the group they do was In the early 1960s Carter was a member of the Slauson street gang in Los Angeles. They also began the “Free Breakfast for Children” program which provided meals to the poor in the community. An accomplishment was he bring people together to fight against the police. It make him a great leader was that he goes to prison but then he gets out with good ideas about people education.

It make a good website is the interactive, the colors, and the pictures or videos in the website. It make bad the website if use a lot of colors in it. I make my website when I was 14. I try to include pictures and videos. Also I use two or three colors that I like. ;)
